Coolsculpting Elite sculpts the body by treating stubborn fat bulges with no surgery and little to no downtime with cryolipolysis. Cryolipolysis is a process by which controlled cooling is used to break down up to 20-25% of subcutaneous fat cells in treatment areas while leaving surrounding tissue and skin unaffected. Treated fat cells are frozen underneath the skin and then die. In the weeks and months that follow, the body naturally processes treated fat cells and eliminates them. After CoolSculpting treatment, eliminated fat cells are gone for good. By comparison, weight loss causes fat cells to shrink in volume, but does not change the number of fat cells present.
Nine areas of the body can be treated: the abdomen, love handles, double chin or submental area, thighs, upper arms, back or bra fat, as well as the “banana roll” (bulge immediately below the gluteal fold). If diet and exercise haven’t eliminated these stubborn areas, CoolSculpting Elite can help.

How does CoolSculpting work?
The CoolSculpting technology, cryolipolysis, targets only the fat cells of a specific area. Coldness causes selective apoptosis of the fat cells – without damage to skin or surrounding tissue. Then the body gently discharges the wilted fat cells through its natural metabolic processes. One treatment can reduce up to 25% of subdermal fat in the treatment area.
Does CoolSculpting hurt?
No. You will feel a sensation of suction as the handpiece engages, and then a short period of intense cold. There may be some tingling sensation during this portion of the treatment. After about 10 minutes, treatment temperature is achieved and tingling resolves. Many people read, watch videos, or take a nap while going through the treatment.
When will I see results and how long will the effect last?
You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment and will experience the most dramatic results after two to four months. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good. The effect is permanent.
Who is suitable for CoolSculpting?
Any side effects?
Most clients return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment. Typical after effects include temporary numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, and soreness. This will resolve after several days to weeks.
How long is the treatment, and how many treatments will I need?
Each treatment cycle is thirty five minutes. Number of treatments depends on anatomy and amount of tissue to be treated. For best results, treat areas on the abdomen at least 1~2 times with 4~6 weeks between each treatment. For the arms and thighs, wait 3 months between subsequent treatments.
