Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers, sometimes called soft tissue fillers, are substances designed to be injected beneath the surface of the skin to add volume and fullness.

BELOTERO BALANCE® is a prescription injection that is approved to temporarily smooth out and fill in moderate to severe nasolabial folds (the folds or wrinkles that go from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth).

Restylane

Restylane® is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid. It helps to visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, including the lines that run from your nose toward the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines).

Juvederm

Juvederm injectable gel is a “next-generation” smooth consistency gel dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. Juvederm comes in two formulations: Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultra Plus.

Botulinum Toxins Injection

Botulinum toxin is obtained from bacteria, and it is purified before being injected into the skin for cosmetic purposes. Though it is deadly in larger amounts, the tiny, regulated amount of Botulinum toxin given to correct wrinkles has been used safely for decades.

This substance works by blocking nerve signals in the muscles where it is injected. When those nerve signals are interrupted, the affected muscle is temporarily paralyzed or frozen.

Botox

BOTOX® is a highly purified protein that can temporarily erase or reduce horizontal forehead lines, vertical frown lines, and crow’s-feet. The injections slow muscles that contract hundreds of times a day, thus eventually etching a line in the skin. BOTOX® can also lift the corners of the mouth that sag with age, smooth out the “pin cushion” look in some chins, soften smoker’s lines around the mouth, and soften vertical neck cords.

Xeomin

XEOMIN® contains Incobotulinumtoxin A, a protein purified from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It is a prescription medication that is injected into facial muscles for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines (frown lines) in adults and is used to treat the abnormal head position and neck pain that happens with cervical dystonia (CD) in adults.

Radiesse

Radiesse dermal filler is a non-toxic, non-allergic compound composed of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a water-based gel. It is injected into the skin via a minimally invasive surgical procedure. Radiesse reduces the appearance of wrinkles and skin folds around the mouth and nose and may be effective at filling certain forms of scarring.

Sculptra
