Genius RF Microneedling
Lutronic Genius RF microneedling is the latest in radiofrequency (RF) microneedling technology. A 5th generation microneedling device, Genius RF microneedling boasts custom-developed, ultra-fine needles for precise creation of micro-wounds that stimulate collagen and elastin growth and skin rejuvenation. Finer needles allow for more precise treatment, minimized discomfort during treatment, as well as less downtime post-treatment. Treatment depth is customizable in 0.1mm increments up to a maximum depth of 3.5mm. Radiofrequency energy follows the channels created by the needles to stimulate collagen production deep in the dermis. RF energy, which translates to heat in the skin and contracts collagen fibers as well as stimulating the growth of new collagen, provides more dramatic results when paired with microneedling over just microneedling alone.
Genius RF microneedling targets many cosmetic skin concerns, such as fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone, skin laxity, uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, acne scarring, other types of scars, stretch marks, and more. Treatments can be customized based on the specific concerns of each patient. Genius RF treatments are not limited to only the face and neck; microneedling can be done on the chest, abdomen, buttocks, knees, arms, and thighs. Treatments can be repeated several times as often as every four to six weeks for best results.
Unlike some laser treatments, microneedling treatments are suitable for almost all skin types. Downtime is minimal, with most patients able to return to work within one day. Minor side effects post-treatment may include: redness, some swelling, itchiness, pinprick scabbing, dryness of the skin, tightness, or warm sensations in treated skin. Skin will gradually improve over days and weeks as skin heals and collagen and elastin are built.
In addition to Lutronic Genius RF microneedling treatments, get even better results by pairing your Genius RF treatments with LaseMD Ultra laser treatments. This is the TotalSkin Solution offered by DSC! Tighten and brighten skin by combining microneedling to target skin laxity and tightness and a thulium laser like LaseMD Ultra to target pigmentation and superficial tone and texture. Rejuvenate the skin from the deepest layer to the top.
