Using my CASQ shortcut for cost, atmosphere, service and quality; here goes…
C – Not prohibitive for frequent visits. Know the procedure you want before a consultation and subscribing to packages. Hardly wise to buy 10 sessions if you haven’t let your skin go through one treatment successfully.
A – Clean and private treatment rooms. Setting attuned to calming your 5 senses during your entry and procedure (muted colors throughout, hygienic warm towels, soothing music, refreshments pre and post treatment, and lightly scented rooms.) Spacious upstairs area with gym.
S – Needs improvement in screening patients during busy hours (late afternoon to evening.) Book ahead (up to 1 month) and ask for a 1 day prior reminder call.
Q – Products used are aesthetician and medical professional approved. On-site doctor reviews each procedure pre-during-post. Private label skincare priced less than comparable OTC and department store labels with effective medical grade ingredients. More suited for mid-aging skin, with some teen (acne) products.
OVERALL: Go if you’re in the area for errands and visiting family. Not a day spa for lingering like Burke Williams or hotel spas. Full menu of Maintenance treatments and no downtime procedures. Dr. Shum and his staff seem dedicated to customers well-being and regularly hold fitness and nutrition seminars and workshops for teens, and men and seniors beyond offerings for their mainly female clients.
