Rejuran Clinical Range

What can Rejuran do?

Unlike traditional dermal hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers that add volume, Rejuran PN focuses on improving skin health at the cellular level, resulting in smoother, more hydrated, and more resilient skin over time. PDRN is made of up smaller DNA fragments than PN is and mainly supports superficial tissue repair and wound healing. PDRN activates A2A adenosine receptors and is best used for healing, inflammation reduction, and post-procedure recovery.
Choosing between PN and PDRN will depend on initial skin condition and expectations for treatment. For aging skin, acne scarring, scar rejuvenation, or intensive regeneration for dry, damaged skin, choose a Rejuran Healer treatment. Rejuran PN can treat the skin of the face, neck, around the eye area, and various areas of the body. For more superficial rejuvenation and improved wound healing after other aesthetic treatments, choose either Rejuran skin booster (Rejuran Skin Booster or Rejuran Tone Up Booster) which are PDRN-based products. Who is a candidate for Rejuran treatments?
Almost everyone is suitable for Rejuran PDRN treatments – the Rejuran Skin Boosters can be paired with other aesthetic treatments to reduce downtime or done as standalone treatments for hydration, brightening, or rejuvenation.
Are there any contraindications for Rejuran treatments?
Rejuran clinical products should be avoided during pregnancy. Because Rejuran PN and PDRN are derived from salmon, individuals with salmon or fish allergies should spot test or consult their medical professionals before undergoing Rejuran treatments. While the Rejuran clinical products are highly purified and unlikely to cause allergic reactions, it is best to be abundantly cautious.
Rejuran Healer treatment candidacy will depend on initial skin condition. Rejuran Healer is recommended for acne scar treatment, preconditioning for eye area rejuvenation, conditioning for skin quality (especially skin that is sun damaged, extremely dry, or damaged), and other more intensive anti-aging or rejuvenation outcomes.
How often should I get a Rejuran treatment?
Rejuran Healer PN offers best results with repeated treatments. Initial treatment between three to four times is recommended to condition skin and to offer skin scaffolding benefits, with treatment repeated as necessary. Individual skin condition and lifestyle helps determine the recommended number of treatments, especially for acne scar treatments, skin rejuvenation, and rejuvenation of the eye area.
Rejuran Skin Booster treatments can be done as often as every month. Because Skin Booster treatments help offer improvements in skin quality, hydration, glow, tone, and texture with little downtime, treatment can be repeated more often than Rejuran Healer treatments. At DSC, we recommend a series of Skin Booster treatments a month apart initially for dedicated skin improvement, or three to four times a year for annual maintenance between seasons.
Is there any downtime after Rejuran treatments?
Downtime will depend on the Rejuran clinical product being used and the delivery method. If Rejuran treatment is topically paired with another aesthetic treatment such as laser or microneedling, the downtime will be informed by the more intensive treatment and usually is in the range of a few days to one-two weeks for full recovery. In general, the addition of Rejuran will help reduce downtime for other aesthetic treatments, especially the Rejuran Skin Booster and the Rejuran Tone Up Skin Booster.
If Rejuran Healer is used as originally intended, there may be several days of downtime and an embossing effect all over treated skin while the PN absorbs into the skin. Treatment downtime can include tenderness, swelling, redness, bruising, and bumpiness of the skin. Unlike dermal hyaluronic acid filler, Rejuran Healer does not volumize skin which means that bumpiness is temporary and will recede.
How soon will I see results?
Rejuran Skin Booster and Rejuran Tone Up Skin Booster treatment results are generally visible within a few days if done alone. When combined with other treatments, results will be apparent depending on respective healing time of adjunctive treatments.
Rejuran Healer treatment results usually take days to weeks to become apparent. This includes downtime for healing immediately post-treatment and the time it takes to stimulate skin rejuvenation. When paired with adjunctive treatments, results are again dependent on respective downtimes of adjunctive treatments.
